Built-in Mobile Keyboard

To enable Tamil language on mobile devices:

For Android:

●       Open the keyboard settings.

      

●       Tap on Languages to view the list of currently selected languages.

●       Tap + Add Keyboard and choose Tamil from the list.

 

●       Once added, use the globe icon on the keyboard to switch between languages, including Tamil.

         

      

For iPhone:

●       Settings -> General -> keyboard

     

●       Select "Add New Keyboard" and choose Tamil from the list.

●       From the available options, choose one of the following:

○       Add to English Keyboard: Type in English and Tamil on the same keyboard.

○       Add New Keyboard: Select this to choose a preferred Tamil keyboard layout.

     

●       The Tamil keyboard will be added to your existing keyboard settings.

 

●      On the Front Page, the built-in keyboard will appear as shown in the image below. The keyboard language can be toggled between English and Tamil by pressing the globe icon key.(Please note that the Tamil keyboard layout may differ for you, depending on the layout you have selected.)
