Browsing Listings

This section describes how users can browse available listings and explore items or services on the platform, both with and without an account.

Users can browse listings directly from the Home page without signing in. All advertisements are displayed in a structured and user-friendly format, allowing easy exploration.

Browsing Without an Account

  • View the advertisements displayed on the Home page.
  • Use the category section to navigate to specific listings such as Vehicles, Jobs, Housing, Electronics, Furniture, Clothing, Services, and Sports & Recreation.
  • Apply filters to refine results based on preferences such as Most Recent, condition (e.g., New, Like New), location, price or other options.

  • By selecting an advertisement, users are directed to a detailed information page that contains the following:

    • Price of the product or service
    • Product description
    • Additional product details and specifications
    • Images of the product
    • Share feature for sharing advertisements with others
    • Seller information, including an option to view seller details
    • Safety tips for secure buying and selling
    • Similar or related items that may interest the user

Browsing With an Account

When users are signed in, they can access additional features while browsing:

  • Like and save advertisements for future reference.
  • Post new advertisements using the “+” icon.
  • Block a user if you do not wish to interact with them.

Users can scroll through listings, explore categories, and select items to view more details. Each listing provides relevant information about the product or service to help users make informed decisions.

Overall, the browsing feature offers a seamless experience for both guest users and registered users, making it easy to explore and find suitable products or services.
